I tried to search a lair and didn't get any system message of any kind. Tried it again (on the same lair) and same thing. Tried it a third time (on the same lair) and the option was gone from the radial menu. Before I bug it just wanted to check with others to see if anyone else is getting this problem.

I've been able to search lairs since the last patch. I know the bug you're talking about though. I had it it happen before and after the patch. But for the most part, it works. I just wat EGGS and not samples. LOL.

yeah, and if you make the container, you can see the non-visual glowey things fly away

I was able to search a couple of lairs today. So not everyone is seeing the bug.

stand there and keep trying it works but the lagg (WAY TO GO AGAIN SOE) makes you take about 20 seconds.

I have always had this, certain lairs will not allow a search if you open the menu before you get within range, Get near the lair beofre u open the radial menu and it alost always works (If its laggy hang around nearby fora few seconds before you open it).

When I can actually get a lair to spawn, it usually lets me search it. Its just the "getting it to spawn at the mission waypoint" thing thats kicking my @ss lately.

SWG is a lot like the Nicotrol System.

With each patch, you're that much closer to quitting.
