i wish my only krayt sighting so far would have went that well.
it was myself, TKM/Ranger, and 3 friends, Commando/TKM, Master Swordsman, and Rifleman/Doctor. We were doing great, takin' down this canyon krayt, then all of the sudden this other group swooped in, and started attacking the krayt too. in the end, they outdamaged us, so we didn't get loot or harvest rights.

Lowca is great for that unfortunately
The last Krayt hunt we were on we had 10 of us...myself and a guildie were the tanks as we were the only melee(I myself wasnt the tank..was MCH at the time and I had a kimo) the rest of us were rifleman. A few minutes later 1 guy comes along and steals our kill??? We thought it was a fluke so I tracked some more and of course he follwed us and KSed that one and another so I said F it and quit tracking and went home. Seems to be how Lowca works....

especially because there is a town inside the krayt graveyard. not wanting to sound like a typical complaining player, but they really should not have allowed them to build Krayt's End so close to the Graveyard.

this being my 4th month here playing it finally happened, got to see a canyon krayt and a juvenile canyon krayt
i wasn't tracking for them either (i never have luck at tracking) was actually out hunting giant sand beetles for insect meat, which is going for 75 cpu on ahazi right now
well after having 3 wild spawns taken from me by others, i was out wandering around looking for more where there was no crowd around, thats when it happened , had been wandering around for like an hour with no luck so i stop and step away for a bathroom break and when i come back there are 2 reds on my radar ahead of me, i hit tab to target whatever it is and my jaw dropped when i seen canyon krayt as the name, so 1st thing i do is say something in rangers chat, i hear don't get close and you better be buffed to try and take it, so i check my friends list and sure enough a good friend that is a doc/tkm is on, so i call him up and he comes right over, we figure out our plan of attack on the 2 of them, since this is both of us 1st time seeing them
so we move around to try for the juvenile 1st, i move in 1st since i have the camo skill, i get to the lovely 64m for my rifle but they have already detected my friend which i put camo on (he was farther back at 1st), then they both aggro him but that was our plan, he tanked while i sit back and blast away , so much for trying to get 1 at a time
but it didn't matter cause he went to town on them then i started in and since i am buffed and full of brandy and ahrisa, i start my special spams and since i never really taken on anything this big, i was trying every speical i had at 1st, then went to work on the mind of them, kept putting mind bleeds and headshot3 like crazy to not much luck with it, then went to strafeshot2 and that was the trick right there, with TKM he kept intimidateing it and useing warcry, plus i think he used every special a tkm has on it, he even got 2 knockdowns on it, we were both shocked when it went down, even though it got right back up, but still it got knocked down
then we just kept working on it, i kept spaming strafeshot2 and putting some mind bleeds on it when it would stop, then we had to chase it down when it got to 5k health, thank god i can run fast uphill, then it went down and we rejoiced in the victory of taking down the 2 krayts for the 1st time ever, took about 40 min to take both of them down, cause we both only had mins left on our brandy , i got pics of the battle and the trophey pic of it dead and as if the battle wasn't enough of a rush i got a krayt pearl out of the juvenile and a crapload of hide off both of them
so what was turning into a disapointing night of harvesting turned to pure joy of battle with a 2 krayts
and now i can't wait to find more when my guild memebers are on so we can do battle as a guild against them

my first canyon krayt sighting didn't go very well.
I'm a nervous fellow so i have my special "calm" shades that i wear wherever i go.
Well i was walkin along the krayt graveyard when i heard a thunderous roar. Can't tell you much more after that...my shades went black and i ended up in the cloning center..........

well i guess i was lucky cause not many ppl around the gravyard late at night looking for krayts, but in the afternoon and such if i am out in that area i usually will get ppl ride up to me asking if i seen any krayts or if i'm hunting krayts, cause i'm usually walking around, cause it fun to walk tat, have walked all over tat like 4 times now and all 4 times was just for the hell of it, is really funny to be in planet chat and tell ppl that i'm walking from anchorhead to fort tusken, i then get the , what don't you have a bike or cred for a shuttle, is funny to say no i have a bike and just walking for fun, then i confuse them even more by saying i have no weapon out and no armor on
i then proceed to tell them that its not recommended to do what i do since i am a master ranger

have had this problem with steal killing also figured out the solution tho
let him have it lol
one of 2 things will happen
1) he will get killed (best case scenario)
2) it will take him WAY long time to kill it alone and you and your guys can go find 2-3 more and kill in the same amount of time
