Thread: A Master Ranger returns

Master Ranger Zartanok Malatar here.. I just returned from a long absence (since January and no it's not because of JTL rather a friend returning) Anyway Are there any big Ranger changes I should know about? ANy word on the new camps that were mentioned like a year ago like hunting blinds?

Well we now have wilderness hotels but the laser perimeter is bugged. But they look cool. Can't really help too much because i've only been playing 2 months or so. Welcome back though. Oh and we have a new way of greeting each other.
"Rangers for teh win!!!" and no that's not a typo.

Things are not much differnt than they were for us. I think the biggest change is the ability to call droids, pets, vehicles without a camp. There has been no new content for us.

I don't remember when they came out exactly - maybe you were still here - but we do have harvester droids and trapping droids now. To use the harvester droid you train it, set a target (meat, hide, bone), and then send it after corpses to harvest for you. Based on the quality of the droid it will also give a bonus the amount you harvest. You can load traps into tapping droids and they will throw them on command. Only one type of trap at a time however. You can probably do a search on these droids and get much better descriptions. 
Other things I can't remember when they came out: Any level scout can collect milk from female animals, there is now a shellfish harvester, and you have a good chance of getting eggs when you "search" a lair.

What are Wilderness Hotels? That's totally new to me (as well as the droids)
Searching lairs for stuff like Eggs has been in since well before I left the game. I was searching lairs sometime last year

Welcome back. Droids help us with our jobs (I still don't trust that creepy R2) and camps are there for show (although they are still my favorite part of being a ranger.)

Only thing you missed were droids that help you harvest and throw traps... and camps are now truely pointless.
