Thread: IS Novice Ranger affective of tracking a creature?

My friend is a MCH MRM Novice Ranger, will he be affective at tracking krayts even though it won't say direction/how far away?

To be honest A master would not be much better than Novice on this critter. So many times ive tracked nothing to walk 50m to be Kryat lunch.

Assuming there is a krayt to track, it will show up on the tracking window. Without tracking 3 however you could still end up walking blindly around without ever running into it. I would suggest waiting for tracking 3, scout experiance is easy to get so getting high enough wont be a problem.

Problem is that my friend got MCH MRM amd movice ranger, not enough SP to pick up 0030. Guess ill ltell him to drop MCH.

Let him give it a try first. 9/10 if there's a krayt there it's going to find YOU

I had my friend who is a novice ranger track krayts for me, he found 3 spawnes

To be honest if you want krayts... dont even bother with ranger, its just not needed. Static spawns..... Once you know where the spawn, even a group of 2 with no ranger should be able to find them.
