I just started this proffesion and im trying to complete orders for resources and im having a little trouble finding the creatures I need. I was wondering if there was a website that can provide me with what each creature has as a resource and the names of the resource, because some ppl ask for i certain kind of resource by name but dont know from where to get it and niether do I. Like this one guy asked me for Corellian Scaley Hide by the name of Obeiv, but i cant find which creature has that type of hide by that name. I appritiate any answers that you could provide.

I use the following two sites for my info. The first one tells you what resource is what and where it can be found. The second is tracking the quality of the specific resources that you want to track.

www.swgcraft.com and www.swg-resources.com are 2 good websites to look up the stats on reources. http://swg.allakhazam.com/static/resources.htmlis a good web site to see what creatures you can harvest needed resources from, and on what planet.

What you should also realize. That hide may not be around anymore.

Non-Rangers think they can order certain hides and all we have to do is find the animal dropping it. They don't understand that resources shift and that particular types of resources are gone. Others will have alts on other servers where stuff is available and not realize that your server doesn't have the same resources at the same time with the same stats or even the same names.

To make life easier, ask your customers when they last got some of the resource. Anything past yesterday may mean a shift has happened (hell, with my luck, anything past two hours ago). If it is not there, it is not there, sorry 'bout that Mr. Artisan.

Another reason why I hate contract hunting.
