Thread: How much do you charge for tracking?

Im wondering how much I should charge for my tracking skills. I can make about 350-400k a buff session guaranteed harvesting. I figured like, 200k initially for tracking, and 200k more for every hour?
Of course, Im just guessing. Whats a high enough price to make tracking skills worth selling, but not so high that people say "screw you"

It all depends on what you got going on that is worth doing otherwise, and whether or not you know them, etc.
In general tracking for someone is a pretty lame proposition because what you get is usually never enough, and you feel guilty actually telling them what your time is worth (cause rangers pretty much make more credits per hour than anyone)

"Great, maybe I'll make enough credits to pay for my buff, and you get some Bounty Hunter Armor."
Depends on how much money is on the server but in generalI would charge at least 500k to find something rare (I would not charge up front though ..I only charge for results). There are plenty of people who will give (offer you) 500k or a million to find something important... if you have to haggle then it probably isnt worth it. Like one time a guy said he's give me a mil if I found him the pirate by the time the server went down. We found it with about 15 minutes to go, and he gave me 2 million.

On ahazi.
If its hero quests on tatooine, 500k - 1 million depending on my mood. Always upfront.
Anything else, whatever price i feel like at the time. Probably from 25k - 1million. Again, always upfront.

I don't like to deal with the headaches of tracking for people I don't know so I won't do it.

I ask 100k, payable regardless of results.
For two reasons. 1) tracking sucks
2) Unless I am desperate for cash I will not hunt for a resource that makes me at least 200k per hour, so 100k seems fair

I charge 100kfor the pirate and BH for the hero of tat. and 300k for the boar and farmer.
Jedi quest: 400k
Krayts: depends on time spent hunting.
I will usually offer my services for less if they are the same faction.
I track untill i find the target or the customer logs.Also i ask for 25k -50k up front, to pay for travel and buffs.
I've been given 5 mil for the Graul Marauder spawn with the understanding that i do not disclose the location for that day.
