Does the quality of the materials used in creating a camo kit make any difference at all?
I am trying to make the best camo kits possible and already have +23 in tapes/BE clothing, but are there any foods that help either?

the OQ effects how many uses you get out of the kits. So yes it does matter. Remember when making them to use a weapons tool near a public/private crafting station to be able to experiment on its uses. Tonight I hit 17 uses with the current materials on Bloodfin/Yavin. Normally i have seen 6-10

Yeah, better ingrediants make better (as in more uses) camo kits. But I think that once the kit is made the ingrediants make no difference as to effectiveness.
I have made traps out of really good stuff, and just plain old crap. I can see no difference in effectiveness there. Nor is there any change in effectiveness based on the quality of the build - great success, outstanding success, haning together with gum and string, they all seem to work as well as the other.
Correlating traps to camo - honestly I don't use camo all that much so I don't have a lot of data to go on. I will say that the camo kit I used on a buddy lasted much longer than the maskscent I was using while we wandered Endor. He wandered through massive reds (giving me big XP) while my maskscent was breaking about 25% of the time - we were on swoops so no complaints from me. Odd tho, as both camo and the maskscent work off my skills. Who knows? And for the record - that was a 17 use kit made from really good stuff. However, a Dath kit, all of 8 uses, made from crap, worked just as well as the Endor kit did.
Personally, I seldom make kits out of really good stuff unless I only have a small amount of it. I save the good meats/hides/bone for sale and use the grind quality stuff to make kits.

I think something for the rangers revamp is for us to be able to experiment with traps to try and get them to be more effective against larger or more tougher prey, I'm able to effect GDK with mesh traps (adhesive and plain mesh) but trying to do that to a kryat just is hellish

Effectiveness of camo:
I don't believe that the quality of the resources you use make the camo any more effective. However, if you craft your kits by a weapon/droid/general crafting station with the corresponding crafting tool, then you can experiment. Experimentation increases the number of times you can use the kits.
So basically, the higher the quality means better experimental results, which means your resources are used more efficiently.
If you are able to build High-Tech Field bases, there's the right crafting station in there for you to use.
