I've tried it but I just can't drop Ranger with my little Rodian. I've tried a bunch of templates with double combat masteries that let me kill fast and harvest enough to make up for the non-Ranger harvesting and let me PvP successfully, but I just can't drop Master Ranger.

I can't explain it but I just can't do it. I am a weak, weak person.

Tip to LEC/SOE: Sci-Fi MMO players don't necessarily belong to the same resource pool as fantasy MMO players.

I am a rodian and after the CU dropped ranger like a red-headed stepchild.

I heard it thru the grapevine they are going to make ranger like ID and reduce the skill point costs.

The problem is even if it cost as much as ID it would still be a waste of skill points.

Ranger is a lifestyle, not a set of skills. Drop the skills and make your character much more effective.

I'm trying very hard to bring myself to drop it, because I know it's time.

But while I, the player, may no longer have Master Ranger floating over my head, my character will remain a Ranger. Just--a subdued one.

Once a Ranger... Always a Ranger.
