Does anyone else feel that the rescue ability to a bit slow for the most part. This could be due largely to the fact that I am a rifleman somy attack queue is just slow in general. Having said that, I can only attempt to rescue a party member once every 10 seconds or so... unfortunately that tends to be a little too long of a pause to try and help out a friend. For instance, I usually keep a close eye on the Dr. in the group, so if he starts taking damage I try to rescue him to pull the aggro off. Since I use a rifle, I can only attempt a rescue after all my shots have been fired (1 never queue more than 1 attack due to this fact).... so by the time my rescue goes off the Dr has already been incapped and the mob has moved on to someone else. So, in order to efefctively rescue anyone I have to be out of combat so that my weapon speed doesnt screw up my attempts to save anyone. Does that seem a little off, or is it just me? I would suggest making the rescue attempts use the same command queue as posture changes, that way you could get a better response time for rescueing people.

Mainly b/c our Dr. is a master, and can rez any of us that die. If he dies, then that means no healing for anyone. So its basically taking one for the team...

Exactly, Rescue is appropriate in the following situations:

1) Rescuing a newbie from some moderate level critter you can handle on your own

2) Rescuing someone with medic skills who will assist you against the critter and/or revive you

3) Rescuing key support personel when in a group

4) Saving a good friend/spouse from death

It does have its uses, but you only use it when its really really important.
