Okay, maybe it's not earth-shattering, but when I set up my first field base kit outside Mos Eisley and then went afk, a couple of guys stopped by and said, "Hey, when did this building go up here?" That was fun.

Lol, that's the best part of the field base kit so far. I set it up just outside of Theed and everyone runs by and says "**edit**???" "Wow, nice camp!" and stuff...

That one moment is worth all the endless hours of camping.

It feels darn good when people come in and see the crafting station, and the pretty graphics.

But the fun is over when any little creature come in and aggros you, showing the uselessness of your camp

Just wait til you set up the High Tech Base Camp! The reactions are priceless, and it really does look like a permanent structure.

Yup, just got that last night with my first Field Base Kit I set up outside Mos Entha Sad as it is, the "Ooooo" factor of our camps is one of the best things left for a Ranger

At least the reactions of other players make the suffering that is gaining suvival experience more worth while.

It will be sad when we start getting apathy on the part of the community because they will all have "seen it before".

Well the Field Base and High Tech Field base won't get too much apathy just because of that lovely crafting station thats sitting in there In fact, I'm finding that gainingsurvival xp is so much easier with the Field Base Kit...because everyone wants to come over and check it out and/or using the crafting station.

An enterprising Ranger would take one of these out to Fort Tusken or the like and set em up there....the medics would love ya.

Just why I became a Ranger the nice camps. I do like the idea of the Fort Tusken setup though.
