Thread: You can't deploy a camp this close to a lair
What lair??? There is no lair!!
Yet another bug for us to chew on. So many times I get this message and not a lair in sight. Other times I can camp almost on top of a visible lair with no problem.
I think it might be related to the "random" mob spawns. Sometimes mobs will spawn in an area even when there's no lair. In these cases there might actually be an (invisable) lair. Thus forcing the message.

Also after you've killed a lair, it might take 30 secs for that area not to register the lair. I was about to camp a few mins ago, but got the message - saw a lair close by and decided to wipe it out to be able to camp. I did and it still told me there was a lair close by, after 30 secs i could put up a camp though.

Absolutly correct. Thisnuisance started when they added the hunting/explore missions. There are invisible "lairs" that spawn the creatures. I had to kill 25 rouge barapets or whatever they are. GOt lucky and stumbled onto an invisible lair. Never did get them to respawn, but even after wiped them all out, I couldn't build a camp.
Odd...
I can drop a camp near a lair and a vacent dead area gets that message. I don't think all of those were "inviso-lairs". I think they really dohave a bug here. It's possible some are ininvisible and trip this but I also think they have the co-ords messed.
