Thread: An extended hand to DeltaXi65.
DeltaXi65, the scout correspondent, have popped out his head on these boards lately politely asking for mutual recognition and help develping the scout/ranger proffesions. NowI know a lot of you (even myself to some point) are a bit upset about the fact that we are nothing but "better" scouts, but we can't blame the scout players for this. Actually it makes quite sense that scout/rangers have some skills in commom, andI think this justifies a reason to cooperate.
Now listening to the scouts and having ideas sent back and forth, developed here and there, is not a bad thing! It makes sense that some skills would start out in the scout tree and extend up into the ranger tree, improving with every box - now these are the things that we should talk about andwhere we should support eachother.
Granted, Rangersneed some unique abilities that separates them from scouts, some skills that are only attainable if you invest in the Ranger tree, but we must realize that we do have alot in common and that it would be shooting ourselves in the foot if we were not to cooperate with the scouts about these issues.
With these words I would like to welcome DeltaXi65 to these boards (they will sooon be his home, seeing he's going ranger
) and ask every ranger beside me to listen with an open mind to what might be for mutual benefit to us all.
/D
I agree, you always build from the foundation on up. By improving the Scout line, they will basically be forced to re-evaluate the Ranger.

Welcome , welcome Delta glad to have you on our side .
There has to be mutual recognition and the acknowledgement that Scouts and Rangers have a lot in common . Separation is DEFINITELY needed ... the Ranger class is just an unfishing class . We are , essentially SLIGHTLY better scouts . So , the more people we have on our side , the better , and it will be essential to have good communication between the scout and ranger correspondents to ensure that what's getting fixed for scout isn't something that should be getting fixed for Ranger and vice versa .
Peace all and good hunting
Jon
Everyone of us had to Master Scout to get to Rangers, so we know what the Scout issues are also since we had to deal with them.
I'm holding off any rants until I see the Dev Answers to Mineras' week1 post. And even then I'll probably not rant, just not productive. There is more to SW:G than just the game, it does build communities, and the Ranger one so far has been one of the better ones I've participated in.
So, again welcome DeltaXi65, and good luck on the Frontiering exp.
YAY! Skeena cheers for DeltaXi65!
Thanks for bringing this up, Darumar!
Guys,
Thanks!

I'll try and pop my head in here every once in a while, but it'll be hit or miss. The Scout boards get busy. ![]()
