I always thought this profession would lend itself to being more Rebel than Imperial. Maybe it is my bias but I view the profession as loners, independent types, not one to be ruled by an evil empire. Well I am now Imperial and the few Rangers I have seen are also Imperial. I am convince it is just a small sample and my original idea is true.

So please tell me which of the three you belong to? Why did you pick that side?

For me I picked this side since the few Rebels I have met are pretty much jerks. Not good team players in the hunts I participated when I was a lowly scout. (Nothing against scout :smileywinkThe ones I bonded with more easily were Imperial players. They actually had their act together.Once again it was probably random chance but I want to see how other people decided their affiliation.

My Ranger is neutral.

He considers the GCW just a matter of politics and thus should be ignored. He also thinks the war along with harvestors and player houses are stain on the natural beauty of his natural desert on Tantooine.

He will never own a house since he believes that a Rangers home is the ground beneath his feet.

I'mcurrently neutral. There is too much immaturity on both sides of the PVP scene for me.I might rejoin the rebels at some point, or I might become an imperial. For now, I'm just watching both sides while I hunt. I'm in no hurry to get involved and will probably wait until my RL friends are ready to choose a side so that I can fight alongside them.

A long time Rebel here (since last night),

and fought off every Imperial that's tried to change my mind (that one guy last night that tried to get the jump on me when I landed at the Shuttle port.).

We'll see how it goes.

Imperial here, easier to track down those hidden rebel bases with my skills, or make the long long runs to some of the battlefields. Of course the stormtroopers can't keep up, makes it sort of a pain. The one reaffirming action on the imperial side was having to kill a fambaa for the emporer (I think it was him, might have been admiral thrawn or colonel veers). Some good trap hits and it was cake, did it solo. Most of my work has been in harvesting lots and lots of animals to support my fellow imperials in their crafting and working their way up the medical and bio engineer ladders. And using the bases for healing and calling pets in the wild. One note on the high tech field base, I wish the banners would be for your faction, especially if you are overt. Can pay tribute to whatever side and people can see them from a distance. WOuld be a nice addition to the camp.

Unfortunately my Ranger must remain neutral. He only has melee skills.

I was neutral and the stereotypical Ranger (loner, independent, etc) until the Empire blew up Alderaan. That was the last straw and I couldn't ignore the menace any longer so I joined the Rebel cause .

I agree with the comments regarding the seeming lack of class and leadership amongst many rebel groups, especially in the Litterbox, errr, I mean on Tatooine. But rest assured that there are fine, well behaved and dedicated Rebels out amongst the other planets who still share a desire for freedom and an end to tyranny.
