as i am a master ranger now, i now see the loneliness (lack of need for a ranger) that has been part of my game since the start.

either way, i think it's a good idea to put a jukebox in the high tech base.

i wouldn't have to hear the droning of the generators and i could listen to some music at least.

also, could have a "coin slot" for others to operate to heal their mind wounds and battle fatigue(bf, as it is supposed to now p.112). this would be a good source of income, because it seems everyone has some level of scout to get any orgs they need. and the market for such is pathetic.

talk amongst yourselves....

I agree, if our camp has a frikkin sattelite dish, why can't I tune in my radio to "armed forces radio" at-least.. listen to a little "good morning vietnam" if not XM sattellite radio while I'm not using that same radio to call in for some new missons from headquarters 8) of which, listening to the radio should heal battle-fatigue and mind slowly (same level as novice entertainer), but is not cumulative with musicians.. if an musician is present and performing, they should auto-shut-off the radio. (dancers on the other hand are cumulative with the radio). I like the idea of an "access fee" to listen to the radio, but that's a bit much... It should just be on all the time like the music that goes on in an empty cantina, but ours would heal BF on it's own as slowly as it does wounds now.

Bah! and let me get inside that stupid tent.. it's raining and this canopy is worthless.

Also, you should be able to have a radio inside your house too... there is no reason you should need an entertainer inside your house.

And the camp should continue to heal your wounds, battle fatigue, and pet regenerates if you /logout from within a standing camp... calculated similar to how a harvester calculates how much it has harvested since last time you checked the hopper... logout to go to dinner and come back 2 hours later and all healed-up.

I've read this before...the developers want people in cantinas, so they're not allowing battle fatigue to be healed in any camp. I'm not sure exactly why they think a bunch of master rangers/frontiersman are going to station themselves outside the city and have dancers there to draw away people from the cantinas. If you implement this into the last camp only, nobody is going to do something like that because they don't need to sit in a camp to grind the frontiering xp anymore, so it's not a threat from people just macro camping or whatever. I personally don't want to set up a camp and sit there just to have people in it. I rather like to go out and explore.

Now, with HTFB kits supposedly being able to stay up for a long time, I think these camps should not be in build zones anymore. Not sure but I don't think this would hurt anyone in any way. It would also help that people don't set up a camp there and leave it and people congregate there for social hour.

Let me also mention that who cares if a group doesn't want to go to the cantina on Yavin IV? There are no dancers there. I don't see how the camps are really going to detract from people visiting cantinas. If you're out at fort tusken and you get slained, you clone and you go to the cantina to heal up. You're not going to run all the way back to the uber camp set up at fort tusken to wait for someone to entertain you. You'll go to the cantina where you know there are entertainers there. But if you go to Endor and get slaughtered by an ewok, you're SOL because you're gonna have to take a ship all the way to Corellia just to get BF healed. Stupid.

This is why I use either an MP3 player running in the background (yeah, I know that it uses system resources) or a CD player plugged in to the line in port of my soundcard. Now, you might think that CCR doesn't really mesh with the whole Star Wars vibe, but hey, I can listen to whatever I want...
