Well for Trapping we get Resuce to aid a fellow player why not for Wayfarying we get Divert.
Here is the conceptI propse:
First you have to be under attack by a player(s) to use the abiltiy as it is defensive.
While under attack by a player, NPC, or animal you can use your wit and sense of survial to try engage your oppenent onto another being as to gain an ally through common ground..you both don't like being attacked.
When attacked you target a animal, NPC and then use you distract skill at the cost of some HAM. Depending on your skill you cause your enemy to engage(shoot/punch/chop/bash) the target(if withing range of weapon). Now you ask in concept how do you transfer your their aim? Well lets say they have their shot line up about to shoot and at just the moment you take a shot at their shoulder or shoot right by their face so that they jerk and accidentally engage the other target with their weapon(The accuracy of the shot being succesful because of you affinity to nature and hightened instinct to survive).
So in short form, you get under attack bringing up the combat que, you target the thing you want your enemy to divert to. Depending on you +Divert deterimes the success of transfering their aim to that target.
For PvP, if we get the negative to-hit that we ask for in The Outdoorsman then we could kite some of the uber elite combatplayers long enough to find a unwilling ally to distract them(especially on higher level planets)while we either escape or engage. I mean we live off the land, so we should be adept at using the wilderness in thrwoing an unexpeted twist to our enemies.
It could alsp aid in hunting as if you have to really strong critters chasing you and they are within proximity to eachother you can use this on them to turn them on eachother.
I hopeI am somewhat coherent right now as I am kinda tired.
Tell me what you think.

Sounds interesting although I don't think it would fly, and definately wouldn't with me. I like playing the loner Ranger type heh. I have yet to use Rescue even.(with my BH anyway, I'm sure I will with my Ranger)
