Thread: Feeling like the Easter bunny

I have a feeling I know what the answer will be but I thought that the collected mind pool of rangers here in the forums, with all those months/years of experience may be able to help me.

I've been asked to collect a couple of k of eggs. Doesn't matter what eggs, just eggs. Now I know the basic answer to that is to run around a lot like the Easter bunny, hunting under rocks and in bushes and finding what I find. Fine - not very exciting but doable.

I just wondered if anyone out there had come across such requests before and had found any little tips and tricks I could learn from. I'm not looking for uber-grind type help... just honest to goodness decent ways of being a successful ranger!

Thanks all

errr - good luck !!

I find that about 1 in 5 lairs have eggs in, and usually 5 - 8 eggs a go.

That would mean you need to rummage around in 1700 lairs to get enough eggs .... and it will take hours (days)to do

however, you will have a large collection of insects and bats and quite a lot of fishing bait when you've finished.

Umm - is this some sort of initiation ceremony ? (sounds like torture to me !!)

I hope you're charging over 100cpu for these eggs, otherwise you really are wasting your time

I recently went on a hunting trip to Dant. I was after the really good wooly hide we had. Turns out, the eggs were really good as well. So everytime I took a mission or found a natural lair on the way there, I harvested the eggs. It was slow and I only ended up getting 300...but the point was that it really didn't matter to me, since I wasn't after them.

Best bet is to find a creature resource that's good, take missions for that animal and just harvest all the lairs to and from the missions. That way you get some eggs, but you're also getting another sellable resource that will be much more plentiful.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

All the time. I only do that if I'm not busy and for friends.Speederbikes help here, don't bother killing things, you loose too much time. Best go for the non-aggro lairsor trust your camo to slip past.

Btw, I will NEVER milk again.
