hello
i would like to hire a ranger with the area track skill to help with knight trails. i am on the blurrg raptor quest (located on endor, but i'm sure u knew that already..hehe)and need to find and kill 3, if u can fight aswell this is great, if not no worries. will need help with the other creatures i will need to find later in the trails..
not sure what the price is for this, but i'm sure we can work something out. i will supply master doc buffs and dancer/musician buffs aswell..

I'll try to be nice about this:
please do not use our boards to solicit the hiring of a Ranger. There are trade forums which Rangers from each galaxy frequently visit. In effect we are trading our time, and, as such, it is a matter for the trade forums.
I must politely remind you that proffession boards are for the use of the people in that proffession and should be reserved for matters that pertain to the people who play that proffession. Questions, bugs, ideas and problems with the proffession are the main uses for a proffession forum. As such, it is slightly rude to come in and use it to help your non-ranger needs. While this is not a huge deal, it is one that we are getting with increased frequency, so I personally have become exasperated with the number of posts of this nature.
While I am sure you did not mean to offend us, I must ask you to no longer bump this message up to the top of our boards and, instead try these alternative forms of hiring a Ranger:
- Use the trade forums. Rangers are often there to see about current prices of organics and if we see an offer for tracking, we just might take you up on it.
- Find us ingame. There is a search option on your people menu (ctrl+p) use this to find any rangers on your planet.
- Use /RIN. Many servers now have a chat called Rangers Information Network. use /chat join RIN to either join the chat, or, if it doesn't exist, to create it. Even if it doesn't exist, I can assure you that many Rangers who post on the forums would check out a chat option with that name, if only to find other Rangers.
Other than that, I can only offer you luck on finding a Ranger by one of the above messages, or luck in finding it yourself. I myself refuse to track for anyone who posts on the Ranger boards (I don't do it often anyway, but I make a point to refuse these people), so I hope that other Rangers aren't similarly inclined. I wish you the best of luck on your Jedi Knight trials and I hope that you can apprciate that posts of this kind are not always well recieved. I hope I have not offended you in any way. I also would recommend looking at the Complete Ranger List By Galaxy and sending a polite message to those Rangers listed. Some of them might be willing to help you.
