If im reading this patch correct. If a jedi is seen by npcs or members of the opposite faction using their force powers they increase thier visibility. But not if they are infront of their won faction members.

If this true the antarian rangers amongst us just recieved a blessing. Our area tracking skill just came into play to save jedi from npc and pc sightings.

Am i wrong in believing this?

Our guild has been called on many times for this very function. We were doing this for Jedi long before publish 9 even. Visability has always been tied to -- well -- being seen. . .

Nowadys, though, it seems there is more Jedi related business in tracking rare spawns than in avoiding contact.

But is the same faction caveat new, or has it just been reinstated to work as it was orignally intended?

It seems they finally outlined what visibility is caused by.

So by being seen by someone of your own faction you increase your visibility by 1/4

being seen by a neutral 1/2

and opposite faction your get full visibility.
