Ranger Archive

I have 2 professions that I find fascinating, Creature handler and Ranger. They seem to be more interesting than most of the other profession and I was wondering if it is a good idea to combine them on a single character. It seems like a good idea to me but I don't know the details of either profession so I would like to know if it works well. Is the lack of Skill points for a combat profession likely to cause a problem?

Fodder as JBMat "Why waste the points on CH when you can get a 4300 HAM 40% resitance droid and it costs no skill points"

So this question has come up a few times. But its a viable one since itsa great match for Ranger. As an ex MCH/MR myself the 18 points left for elite profession really hurt my hitting ability. And even with Light Kin 60 pets i was still taking hits. Now go Tracking IV/CH 4/4/3/4/Master Elite Profession and you get the best of all three professions. You can call two CH pets as well as having storage for a bunch and being able to call a really nice tank. You get the best piece of ranger. And the ability to protect yourself.

I don't actually die that much. I do run alot. I'm super slow at killing things but....I wouldn't drop Master Ranger or Master Creature Handler. I love 'em both.
