Hi,
I'm new to the boards, so forgive me if I've missed something in from the FAQ's.
I'm a 1/1/4/3 Ranger (and 1/1/1/1 Rifleman), grinding to master. I'd like to know what I need to do tocraft crate loads of traps please.
Sometimes I can fill my inventory and pack with traps, and on a large group hunt I can go through the lot! -RANT- Having said that, what's a group hunt? Everybody's off doing "solo groups" which kind of defeats the object of being in a group to me.I don't blame people for doing solo groups, the game needs re-tuning to encourage people to work together more. I solo myself to get Janta missions on Dantooine, purely for the money. -/RANT-.
Thanks,
DaveG, Wookiee Ranger.

Artisan guide to Ranger
You will need a public or private Weapons/General crafting station or a droid with a weapon/general crafting module. Then use a wepons general tool to make a trap next to this. You will get a new open on create "Create a prototype, create a schematic". You should choose "Create a manufacturing Schematic". ANd choose how many you want to make. The draft schematic will end up in your datapad. Next if your in a guild find a weapons factory someone will share with you. And pull up OPTIONS on the weapons factory "Choose Schematic" and put your schematic in. Next "What ingedients needed" under option. And "Open Ingredient Hopper" also under options. You will need to put in identical ingredients to your schematic. So if you used3 Aesop Endor Animal Bone and 5 Asimovian Endor Wooly Hide to make the schematic. And you want to make 100 of these. You would put in 300 Aesop Endor Animal Bone and 500 Asimovian Endor Wooly Hide into the ingredient hopper. THen under, you guessed it, option "Start Factory".
I know it sounds complicated. But after the first couple times you do it. It will make sense. IF your in a guild talk to your crafters they'll help you. If your not in a guild but friendly with some artisans they will help you.
Factories are always something people have trouble with. Myself included when i was new. Just keep banging at it. Its a very nice tool to use to save a lot of space in your backpacks.

*sighs* Wish I would have read this thread before buying both a equipment and structure factory last night...
