Hi,

I'm currently camping outside Tusken Fort and I got two others in my camp. With me that makes three.

And I'm getting 1200 XP after 5 minutes (5 minutes and 3 seconds, 20 seconds etc) all the time. I've finished 4 camps already and all have given me 1200 (1236, 1216 etc)Wilderness XP. We are not healing - just sit and chat.

This is with a Field Base Kit.

Maybe the devs tweaked the xp rate even more in todays patch?

Nope. That's how it is. They did increase the xp rate but even before that, full exp would be at 7 mins.

Why is everyone complaining about the "wilderness grind"? This is almost as easy as Trapping XP

Hehe, I never though Frontiering was a huge grind either. In fact, I'm half way through 4th box already before I even finish my 3rd box of Trapping or Wayfairing.

Actually biggest problem is getting the resources. 30 polymer and 35 steel can add up for what amounts to hundreds of camps. Good think I afk sample for these while I'm camping! hehe

Actually, the new proposals for wilderness survival xp are cool and all, and will help the up and coming rangers. But mostly it will help the BH's and CH's that use scout as a "speedbump on their way to leet dudeness" (LOL, stole the quote, not sure who said it first, but you know who you are!).

I think of all the time I've spent, plus the carpal tunnel syndrome from hand crafting thousands of traps and camps, and it makes me want to weep. XP that is wasted I suppose, but oh well.

I did the afk sampling thing as well. I've got enough metal and polymer stockpiled for a long time. With crafting, you can press ENTER through most of the screens other than the adding components part.
