When using "camo kits" specific to planets and whatnot and concealing yourself or others will there be a visual? I mean lets say youre on Dath or Endor and you conceal yourself using a dath/endor camo kit will you be like some Green Beret looking guy with cool green/brownish camo face paint and shrubbery (ghillie suits) etc so blend in? I really hope so, you can get some pretty cool looks with that idea!

That would be pretty nice, and the fact that you have to assemble kits to be used for specific planets lends itself to this concept very well. If not part of the initial add, then once all the ranger changes are fully implemented, I can certainly see that as a nice "extra touch" add to toss in down the line.

I would not be surprised to see something like that down the line (maybe a year from now). Probably in an add-on.

Us rifleman have been asking for a Guille suit for sometime and these is sheding more light on that possibility.

Asa rifleman / ranger with the camo kit, and the possibility of a guille suit, well for my style of play, it is that most exiciting profession combination there is out there!!!

I couldn't agree more. I am a Rifleman/Ranger, and I've recently had some second thoughts about my career path. Now that the changes (and more!) that we all hoped would come to Ranger are on thehorizon I am definitely happy I've stuck it out this far. I'm more into the hunting of large MOBs than PVP (though that is fun as well) and being able to track my prey of choice, apply planet specific camo and then setup a hunting blind will be awesome! Imagine this scenario:

1. Apply your Camo kit

2. Track your MOB of choice

3. Setup the hunting blind

4. Kill, kill, kill. Maybe have some snacks. Then kill some more.

Finally....we may actually mean something to the game overall.

OK maybe dumb question, will it remove you from the radar blip?
If I'm not ranger my Master Ranger friend will be able to conceal me right?
I think with conceal rangers are gonna be some of the strongest in pvp now.

I looked over it again and it does not say it can or cannot be used against players.
Just that you can apply it to other players.

Anyone think this will be only for creatures?

Unless I've misunderstood, no, it doesn't remove you from the radar, it just, almost without fail, hides you from critters.

I am prety sure it is animals only. It would be unfair to PvP for it to work there.

Not that you cannot find ways to use it to an advantage though.

Would probably get abused if it were for PVP And deveryone and their brother would be concealed. When you go Ranger expect everything for PVE and, im playing my TKA on another server I can PVP With him. I want to do all the exploring and all that stuff in the PVE World with my ranger I wont mind not being able to use most of my stuff in PVP. You might be able to help though because your traps work on creatures so you could fight creature handlers in faction combat or normal pvp

Can we get a dev response on the possibility of Conceal being visual and not just some apply effect? This game is starting to feel more and more like a MUD, it would make it much more appealing with visuals
