All I can see is the tents. Traps are pretty useless, and the other two trees dont really help that much.

If you don't like being a scout just for the sake of scouting (exploration, hunting, etc.) then being a ranger is probably not for you, because in the words of every ranger-hater: rangers are simply [much] improved scouts.

I wouldn't exactly call traps useless when you can land an adhesive mesh on anything. You would be amazed at the number of times I have saved people I"m grouping with when that difficulty 50 mobs starts heading at them because their mask scent isn't as good as mine.

Traps aren't useless at all! They gain you Trapping experience, silly!

Seriously, though... Even though my combat skills aren't "all that" yet, I'm still able to take on some pretty big game through the use of my traps. Especially Adhesive Mesh. Even though I don't have big firepower, I still have no problem killing something that can't get to me.

If you're all about PvP, then Ranger isn't for you. Big game hunter? Ranger all the way!
