Thread: Big game on Yavin that doesn't Aggro when attacking herd?
Brother Rangers,
Does anyone know of some big game that you can attack on Yavin without having to worry about their friends joining the battle?

The lure traps are a great idea, but that does not address the problems of Everyone/thing knowing where you are and attacking you except the creature you are attacking. That makes no sense and should be fixed.
It's one thing if they all charge once the target does, but to have an entire lair jump you while your target wanders around aimlessly is just illogical.
It also makes no sense that if I am out of range of a target and engage in combat without firing a shot my target somehow senses my intend and starts charging...

It is weird, isn't it? That is one of our tatics for single pulling those aggro mobs though... We find one that seems to be a bit out from the others and stand at max distance. Normally when someone fires at, they miss. That mob doesn't even notice that he almost got whacked, but his friend will. Viola, a single pull.
Ok, so that is the ideal. A lot of times it is just a bunch of mobs all piled up together. We then try soft pulls. Someoneapproaches the lair without maskscent, running back to us as soon as something engages. Have you noticed just how often mobs don't attack you when you want them to? /sigh
On Yavin, the mamiens always provide a lot of amusement. As a general rule, we don't hunt them simply because they are just one of the few that don't aggro right off the bat.It is alwaysfun when they run over to check out who we are fighting. Almost as if they are pacifists... ![]()
Speaking of bats... Gackle bats are pretty decent targets. A bit toughto solo as there isn't that much roomto move around and kite. But if you have asmall group, the bats make decent hunting. The klikniks just get nasty with their effectiveness ratings and ranged attacks.
Sadly, mamiens might be your best bet solo... I just hate the idea of seeing someone kill them.
