Thread: Time Passes
I visited the bazaar the other day for the first time in... I don't even remember!
I remember the first person ever to put a house up outside Dearic. I tell'd all my friends and we wandered through the three empty rooms of the generic house Oooing and Ahhhing. We were fascinated by the red privacy screen over the door and his ability to turn it on and off.
I remember seeing a tortor for the first time and thinking that things couldn't get much bigger than that.
I remember my first trip off planet and my silly excitement at seeing the cliffs of Kor Vella. I climbed one of the cliffs and pretended to get dizzy and fall down while my companion spammed "lol" over and over.
I remember watching the legions of afk samplers outside the city and being amazed by the sampling graphics and the lulling sound of "whoooosh!"
I remember being killed by a flite rasp. Oops. That was yesterday, nevermind!
Anyway, just a little reminder about how much things have changed in only a few months. The devs have done an amazing amount of work and done a terrific job (even Rangers seem to get no love). Iv'e enjoyed myself tremendously and look forward to doing so for many more months. Thanks to the Ranger forum who have helped make it so enjoyable!
i remember paying a whopping 1200 credits for my new D18 pistol and how much better it was than my cdef.
I remeber the first time an at-st came towards me thinking " where are some rock chucking ewoks when ya need'em"
I remember poping out my first multi-person camp and thinking "wow two tents, now how do I get in them"
Memory lane sure is fun
lol I do indeed remember those days. Running everywhere, trying to time my burst run around Lianorm Swamp outside of Keren where the dang Narglatches and hideous Shaupauts harrassed me endlessly. I remember the first time I came to Theed thinking I was going to be a Weaponsmith (hah!) and seeing the horizon literally littered with personal mineral harvesters. I remember selling my powerups for 100 cpu, and oooo'ing when someone gave me 500 credits for 3 of them.
My fondest memory though, would be the cities actually being filled and bustling with people. My old friends in the cantina in Kadaara, and being afraid to wander past the gate of the city to risk the wrath of the Skaak Tipper Bullies who seemed to hate me.
Ah the good ol' days.....I think I still have my survival knife and a pre-nerf melon in my pack if I recall correctly..........

Heh. Now there was a brilliant idea.. all of a sudden, someone realizes that hides don't generally come in a sterile off-white color.
And yet the blinking lights, medpacks, and hover-chair's remain.
