Thread: Worth The Time investment??

I am planning to create a new character on Chimaera Server and was wondering if it is worth going for Master Ranger.

I was planning on going for:

Master Ranger

Master Rifleman

Medic 1-0-0-0

(Good for combat, and ability to heal) Advice would be appreciated..

I have read the FAQ and it seems that there is no specific role in SWG for the Ranger profession apart from organic (animal)resource gathering which can be done more effectively by elite/hybrid combat professions with minimal scout skills. I hear people who are Rangers saying there are not enough around, but with no direct influence on the economy are they needed at all??

Inspiring tales of adventure and rewarding experiences would be nice too..

Cheers in advance

I must say, with the exception of Frontiering, Ranger was very fun to play and I made over 1.2 million selling meat and milk.

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

Was meaning, leveling to Master.

Unfortunitely I will be losing my master tag in order to master Carbineer, then I will remaster Ranger.

Worth the investment? Oh yes!

Well I have not mastered yet, but personally I would not hesitate to say MR/TKM in my case was well worth the time. I have been having more fun in game then ever before... well except for camping. I have to admit I did not find that very exciting.

That's still not true, no matter how often people repeat it .

Master Ranger/Master Rifleman *is* the ultimate harvest template.
