I have something very stange to report here hoping that there is a good answer for what I'll say!
I was hunter for a long (I mean scout xx4x) and I used my droid to harvest what Iwas killing.Thats as it harvested better than me and I could harvest still in the middle of the fight with other animals. Thats helped mea lot on crowded lairs as you probably know ...
I used to be groupped and ungroupped with my droid. Grupped only when I used veghash that stacks with the droid harvesting ability.
When I got Master Scout, Novice Ranger and then Ranger xx4x I simply forgot my scout droid thinking that I was largely better than it in taking meat/hide/bone.
Yesterday on Yavin I was on a large kliknik lair and I noticed that I'd be better call out my droid again trying to get the hide as soon as I killed one kliknik among the others. I was ungroupped with my droid, no veghash.
Well, I discovered that my droid harvest better than me! For example from a kliknik queen I can get 170-175 hide, my droid over 190! From a kliknik defender I get 110-115 and my droid 125-130!!
My droid has a modifier of 104. I supposed it was a Master Scout Droid but now ... what thinking about this?
How is it possible? What is wrong in what I do?
Is this a bug? If this is not a bug, why are we using 63 SP in the Ranger Prof if a droid can beat us?
Please, let me know your opinion.

Yes, your droid harvest bonus sstacks on top of your own bonuses. So you would have the ranger harvest mod + veghash bonus + droid harvest bonus.

DOes this bonus max out anywhere? I right Now have Ranger 0/0/2/2 and just got a Droid with Harvest 96.do I even need to bother with teh Harvest Buff?

any increase in your natural harvesting skill,
(by veghash or droids) will stack on top of your natural skill. So, you will do better with veghash+droid, than with just veghash or just droid.

Your Droids skill seems to act as a modifier based on your own skill. It being able to harvest more than you is as intended.
