Thread: Tracking the Moisture Farmer on Tatooine

Sign on at server up and head to the Jabba's Henchmen Cave.
Do an areatrack and wander around this area for a little bit.
The moisture farmer DOES show on areatrack. Your best bet for finding him is early in the morning around this location.

I tracked him. Go to the waypoint of the cave and first area track there. Then head west up over the mountain and down into the valley. Anywhere within that valley(its several k wide and a few k tall) that farmer can spawn. This includes on the mountain sides but only on the valley side of the mountains and around the cave.
What I recommend is set up a search pattern and go up and down the valley to make sure you cover every spot inside it with your area track. He is always in that valley(as soon as someone finishes talking to him he despawns and respawns instantly somewhere else in the valley).
But yeah, area track works. He will not show up on your regular ground radar either. He will, however, show up as a white triangle on your ctrl+m overhead map. So use that in conjunction with your tracking.
It took me aboutan hour and a halfof covering the valley to finally find him, but I did find him.

I though he had a 2 hour despawn time. I've covered every inch of that valley and found tons of regular npc farmers but they aren't the right one (I've resorted to killing everyone I find just for frustration releaf.)

The best luck i had was looking for a small cropping of personal moisture farms that were owned by NPC's. And then look for the water buffalo in the fenced in field. This is where the moisture farmer lives

Have any of you had any luck with this? I've spent probably 12 hours doing this in several sessions and have never found him. Any tips?

South of Mos Taike is where I found him a couple of times....sometimes longer than others but he should be around there somewhere.
