Has anyone ever made up a list of what to hunt for particular resources? And can you get them in Solo groups to improve your harvest?

What info do you think its lagging for Dant? I spend 90% of my time on Dantooine since my cities there. And i have never found it missing anything. Remember most of the site is player added so if you find something missing, bone information on some comes to mind, add it. Its our job as rangers to help SWGCRAFT and SWGCREATURES from becoming out of date.
Remember these are fan sites that the fans are paying for not SOE. So we should at least help them with information when we can

Solo grouping will improve your chances to get tougher creature missions with a higher payout, but harvesting in any group will greatly reduce your ability to harvest -- even with veghash and a droid.

When I go on a big $$ hunt I go to that BE site and do the expanded search for just the particular planet and just the particular resource type. I let it make the list and I write the list down. I go there and find most of the creatures on the list and hunt them. Then all of a sudden I stumble onto creatures that have similar names to the ones I just hunted except they are xxxx hunter. I know they are not an evolved form because they don't act like the lower species and have different animation than the other species. When i attack/kill them they end up having the exact resources I am looking for but nowhere on the list is their name. I figure that this is not the only occurence of that on the planet.

Yes, the above website is a good resource for displaying a good sample of the creatures you can find and their resources.(Either it needs updating or it is just giving the core set of animals so you can get an idea of what is out there because it is kind of lagging info for Dantooine.) Rangers have the ability to track all animals so we don't worry about doing solo group missions we just wander out into the the wilderness looking for animal footprints and droppings to see if we can hear a dear farting in the woods when there is nobody around.
