Fellow Rangers,

Thanks to Anro and all the Rangers who showed for today's meeting, the Flurry Ranger's Guild is quickly becoming a reality. Keep in mind nothing is absolutley definite yet and we are looking for other people who have different and sometimes better ideas. A quick recap of the meeting's discussions:

1. Who whould be allowed in - For now, just Rangers. High-end Scouts may also apply but will be screened by the Guild community before accepted. There is a possibility we will add other professions to our membership as the need arises (i.e. Master Dancers for camps, Master Businessman or whatever for vendors)

2. Where the PA Hall will be based - This is almost definite right now. It will be in Freeport, a PC West of Theed, Naboo. This provides a large consumer base and easy travel with the no-wait Spaceport.

3. Services - For now we will focus on getting a vendor with a substantial resource supply to sell to the public. We will also be Ranger's for hire: retrieving certain resources for a client or even act as a guide when needed. This will be implemented as soon as possible.

4. Membership Dues - Should we charge a fee, a resource contribution, or guild participation on hunts? We are leaning towards the resource contribution, but ideas are welcome.

5. Running the Vendor - As Rangers, the group that met had no idea how to run a vendor. If anyone is knowledgeable (especially a Ranger with business skills) please let us know.

6. The Name - The all-important NAME. A few great ideas were suggested (Phantom Ranger Order, Flurry Antarian Rangers - sorry Ahazi, that name is too good!, and more...)if you have any ideas, or really like one of those two names,replies are VERY welcome.

All in all it was a very productive meeting, and we are looking forward to the next. BTW the PA Hall is being built right now.

I will attend monday's meeting since i missed todays. Couple of things, 1, faction stance orjust gonna be kinda a neutral thing (i am all in favor of this), where each idividual is allow more or less a free reign in their place. Two, i would think a combo for dues would be best, allow individuals to contribute how they best can (money, animal res, inorgainc res, etc), that way each could be placed toward something and or trade for something else if need be.

Personally, I'm on Gorath, so you can take my 2 cents for what it's worth...

I think every Server should have an Antarian Rangers guild. In fact, Zkull mentioned in another post that we should all use the name... (paraphrasing).

Great to see Rangers getting organized...
