This occured to me earlier today.

I have Frontiering 2, and recently qualified for 3. If I gather together 100k survival andhold off on getting Frontiering 4 until after the patch, I will be dissapointed.

Everyone knows, or should know, that you can only acquire as much xp as double what it costs for the next skill in the tree. Rangers with Frontiering 2 have a survival cap of 120k. This, however, will be reduced to 80k once the requirement for Frontiering drops to 40k.

In short, whether I pick up Frontiering 3 now or after the patch, I will still be losing 20k worth of experience.

If anyone knows if I am wrong please correct me.

There is nothing to indicate that you'd be lowered to the new cap. If you're losing the same amount either way, you're better off waiting till after the patch and taking the chance. It's not like you're missing out on much now not having the HTFB.
