Fellow Rangers,

After today's meeting it was agreed to leave some open-ended ideas sink in for a few day, and meet again soon with solutions to some problems we encountered. All Rangers are welcome from any server.

It will be Monday at 6:00pm EST. This is Labor Day, so there is no school and some businesses close. The general area will be the Lake Retreat, Naboo. Stand by for the exact waypoint from Anro, which will come shortly. We chose a more secluded location due to a few stray medics and entertainers that couldn't take a hint earlier today.

Please read the thread: Flurry Ranger's Meeting Recap for a list of things to think about and develop your own ideas. If there is anything else you want to talk about feel free to post it here so people can accept or critique your point of view, and this will make the meeting run much smoother.

We are expecting a fair turnout at this next meeting, given the popularity (even from other professions!) of the subject. Please remember that while this IS a group discussion, Anro will be guiding it. That means, he picks a topic to discuss and we stick to it until he is ready to move on. Don't worry, this is very relaxed and we had fun today, as Rangers are by far the friendliest profession, while still very professional (in a game!).

Again, ALL Rangers from any server are welcome to come. All you need to bring are some of your own ideas (but you can sit there and not say a word if you want to :smileyhappy And if you are factioned please, no fighting.

The location will be -5500 1050, north of Lake Retreat, Naboo. Like before, we'll have a little one man camp set up so we can pimp it up in style during the meeting.

It's a bit late now, so I'll try posting something tomorrow if anything dawns on me. Thanks to all who made it to the first meeting and those who didn't, I'll try to fill you in soon. I hope everyone makes it out to this meeting.

Ok, location change. Avido and I put up the PA hall this morning and we're having the next meeting up on the sun deck of the hall. It's going to be in the same general area of the first meeting, so west of Theed in Freeport. It is just a few hundred meters north of Kam's shop...you can't miss it 'cause it's a huge PA hall!

Great job Arno! I knew you could do it.

On to my dilemma; I am unable to make it tomorrow. I work retail and labor day is a big day. So I thought I would put a couple of my thoughts and ideas about our group. Please include some of my viewpoints in tomorrows meeting. I will send a more detailed report to you in-game, but I thought people might like to discuss some of my ideas on the board.

1. As for a name: I really like Anterian Ranger! If you are not familiar please read their background onWizards web site. - http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=starwars/article/sw20030710hero-


2. I also like Flurry Anterian Ranger...Why?...FAR...That is just a cool tag!We go farther, faster and travel better than anyone. If you need to gofar from homebetter find a Flurry Anterian Ranger


3. In regards to the SWG-wide PAbeing started by Zkull, I think we should haveloose ties with the group. I understand the limitations of cross-server communications, and believe each PA should operate independently but havesomekind of interactionwith each other, as we have a great community on the ranger boards already.


4. Dues should be payable in credits or organic resources. The PA can then sell the organics at any price it can.


5. I would like to have Rangers responsible for each Starter planet. Tat, Naboo, Correlia, Rori, Talus.


6. Adventure planets would be the responsibility of the PA as a whole. No ranger should attempt an expedition under the PA name without other members of the PA.


7. I think some support will be needed from other professions. As expedition leaders we need Master Combat Medics for heals and rez, Squad Leaders for group buffs, etc.. I hope to find rangers who can fit both roles, but as we all know that does not leave room for a combat profession. This should be discussed.

Please keep me updated. Again, sorry my schedule does not allow me to make it to the meeting. I really want to bea big part of this PA. I play 4-5 hours a day from 10pm - 2am Pacific. Sometimes I can play on weekends, sometimes I can't. I will be in touch with Anro and Avido in game tonight. If thereare any other questions raised please post them on the board as that is my only communication while at work.

I tried to make your first meeting, but since it started at 3pm west coast time, I couldn't get back in time. By the time I created a toon on Flurry and logged in, everyone was already gone.

I will try to make Monday's meeting. It will be fun to meet you all and see how others are organizing.
