I'm pretty much set on master ranger and master rifleman, and I'm closing in on master ranger pretty quickly. After mastering these two professions, only 18 skill points remain. That is enough for either novice medic and first aid I, or ranged support spec and intermediate pistol and carbine. Any thoughts on which would be best to keep?

For me I took novice artisan and survey I, course that's cause i'm trying to open up an inorganic and organic trading post, and it's hard to find others to do yoursurvey work. =P

As a ranger / rifleman myself

I can say you should consider Creature Handler - it can make you life considerably easier!

I am struggling with the same thing except in my case I am debating whether to keep artisan skills or entertainer skills. I am leaning toward Artisan for the surveying abilities.

I definately don't want any artisan skills; I don't like maintaining harvesters, and it's cheaper to buy resources then pay someone to tag along and heal you whenever you're playing. I never really considered CH for this character, can you have a GSP with just training I and taming I?

Ya you can have a greater sludge panther with taming and training 1. In fact you only need training 1 if you can find someone to tame it and give it to ya. If you plan on taming it yourself you will need taming 1 also.

well actually I thought about getting creature handler, but I'm going to wait until new combat droids come out. they might be just as good as a GSP, and you can save your points for medic or ranged support. Of course if the new droids are useless then I will go the ch path.

Once i master rifleman I will decide if I go for ranged support or medic
