Hello. I'm a master doctor on Corbantis who has been trying to find a long-term heavy supplier of good quality Herbivore meat (and possibly avian meat as well). I will pay quite well and am looking for a long term supply of many many thousands of units over time.

I have been unable to find anyone who can help me on the Corbantis server board or on the scout board. If anyone who reads this is willing to be a long term provider, I look forward to a good working relationship and I guarantee you will be well compensated.

What planet are you on, usually? Corbantis Tatooine currently has good herbivore meat (908 OC), which I've been putting up on the bazaar in various cities thereas fast as I can gather it. Even at relatively high prices (8-10 cr/unit) the stuff still sells out fairly quickly. Given that, and the fact that dealing with specific buyers involves more logistics than going to the nearest bazaar terminal, any exclusive arrangement with a buyer would have be for a slightly higher rate still. I'm not trying to be snide; that's just how the market for this particular variety is currently, and I think I and a friend of mine are the only ones on Tatooine purposely hunting for decent quantities of it.

I'm also a little leery of making any long term commitments as a supplier, just because we don't know when the next resource shift will be or what it will do to the quality of the meat on any given planet. I wouldn't have any problem with sending you a quick in-game email when I've put new meat up on the bazaar, just to apprise you of it, if that would help any. Tell or mail Runo in game.

Funny , I thought I was the only one that felt this way about this type of arrangement Zip . I kinda don't like selling to one person , I find it much easier to just harvest at my leisure and put the stuff up for sale at my leisure whenever I find myself at a bazaar terminal .

If I had to start adding deadlines or quality requirements or quantity requirements .. I dunno it starts to feel real " jobby " and not much fun anymore .

However for the right price I would maybe make a job out of it I guess . My big problem is there is not a **edit** thing in game that I would want to buy that I don't already have . Hrrrm so I don't know . Zip I play the same market as you btw , I'm also making a good profit on Avian meat of so - so quality . I sell that and Herbivour meat for a firm 10cr. per unit and it's going out the back door of the bazaar as I'm loading it in the front . What would it take to make an arrangement like this more interesting to you ? I dunno , I might have to say at least 15cr. and even that .. I dunno . Who cares about the credits ? That stuff is just a boring grind after a while . I would be interested in some high power buffs tho , maybe if that was added I would consider it .

By the way to the Doc that posted this , I'm not slamming you at all ... just thinking out loud here . I think will be a problem for people as long as things are set up this way ( single character server ) . I image that you can find a master Chef that can supply you long term for a certain buff you like ... but who want's to be a Chef for more than a month ? I mean , I dunno . Doing anything in this game gets so repetitive so quickly . Things will always be shifting around I guess .

Wow guess I'm feeling all " philosophical and **edit** " . Anyway good luck Doc and Zip I find the Anchorhead bazaar is amazingly profitable ... I swear I could put a log of doodoo up there for 3000cr and sell it in a day .

Thanks for the replies all -- in response to the logistical side of everything...

I must say that I respectfully disagree. I sell resources, stims, and medicines on the bazaar... and it's much simpler to just be able to send a message to one of my repeat customers and say, "Hey, I have 2 more crates, want them?" and then BAM sold. It's either that, or unload them -- put them all on the bazaar -- visit different cities, make sure they're heavily populated -- only sell 20 at a time -- take a 20 credit per unit hit on each... Sure they're not huge issues, but they all add up to more trouble then they're worth.

Also: Never did I say anything about deadlines... I'm just looking for a long-term supplier. When you get a lot of herb meat, sell it all to me rather than breaking it up and putting it on the bazaar. I'm not going to say, "Hey, it's Tuesday where's my **edit** meat!" lol... Maybe I should have been more clear... I'm just looking for someone to harvest a lot of herbivore meat and sell to me rather than the bazaar wheneveryou decide it's convenient for you to sell. No deadlines, no hassles, no painful logistics to manage...Just send me a message when you're going to have stuff available. If Irespond, then I'll buy it. If not, then put iton the bazaar in a day.

Note that I'm trying to makeyour life _easier_ rather than harder. And I guarantee that the way I envision doing thisand selling everything you've harvested in a day (or 2 days or week) all to the same person in one giant chunk is way easier than breaking it up into groups of 20.

It becomes clearer now. Having done a little business, briefly, selling stims in the past myself, I see where you're coming from. However, my current pattern is somewhat less involved. Typically, I come in from the wilds with a single container of 1000-2000 meat, let's say 1500 for sake of example. I go straight to the nearest bazaar terminal of the city I'm returning to, and check the current Organic Food listings. Most of the time, there isn't much ofmy Herbivore Meat listed. I split the 1500 units of meat into 5 containers of 300, and toss them up for sale for 3000 credits each. All finished. On infrequent occasions someone (my buddy, half the time) has a good quantity already there, in which case I scan Whole Planet, find a city that doesn't have much of the meat listed, hop one shuttle to that city, and toss them on the bazaar. All finished. 24-48 hours later, the money comes in, but I'm long since back out in the wilds by then.So I don't have quite the hassles in using the bazaar as you do, and I'd guess that most other rangers don't either.

All in all, I'm able to take care of the whole business in a matter of minutes, with no scheduling, mails & tells back & forth, stopping my roaming and hunting (the part I chose to be a ranger for) to meet up with buyers, etc., etc. I know some players find the business interactions and negotiations and such a lot of fun, but for an explorer like me it's mostly a distraction, and meat and hides are for paying the bills. I do pay attention to which cities already have a surplus listed and what the prevailing rates are, but that's about the extent of my wheeling and dealing.

Again, all this is not to say I'd never set up arrangements with specific buyers, but those arrangements would need to either pay a good deal more than what I get on the bazaar, or would need to match the bazaar for convenience, e.g., if youhappened to havea vendor on Tatooine that I could go to and unload my meat on, regardless of whether we were both online at the time.
