We'd like to thank Mineras for all his work as the last Ranger Correspondent!

· Are you knowledgeable about theRanger profession?

· Can you objectively identify relevant issues and distinguish them from simply passionate arguments?

· Do you like organizing information and corresponding with other members of a community?

The Development Team is looking for a volunteer correspondent for the Ranger Profession. Participation is completely voluntary and you can stop helping out at any time. We’re just looking for someone who can help us sort through the various issues for this profession.

If this is something you are interested in, please write a short paragraph on why you think you would be a good candidate and email it to [email protected]. Please putRanger in the Subject Line and include your SWG handle in the message. By submitting this email to us, you agree to allow us to contact you in connection with Star Wars Galaxies and agree that all correspondence with and material submitted to SOE will be the exclusive property of SOE and SOE may use such materials without limitation and in its sole discretion.

After we have reviewed the submissions, we will pick one person to be our correspondent. We will set them up with a special community title here on the forums and ask them to help highlight for us the relevant issues relating to this profession.

Don’t get too attached to the title though; In the interest of well-rounded feedback, once a month we may select a new correspondent. Please do not take that personally, we just want to be fair and give other people an opportunity.

We will still continue to monitor the forums and read as many threads as we can. The correspondent is just to help us focus on the top issues of the profession.

Thank you,

Kevin "Q-3PO" O'Hara
SWG Community Relations Manager

Xahn,

I sent in an application right after Mineras announced his departure. Do I need to send in another? Please respond.

I nominate Nraas, as I'm sure Delta is worn out. Nraas is about the most articulate, and well mannered Ranger I have seen on the boards. He is objective, yet passionate about the profession.

All in favor say "Aye!"

I thought of NRaas too but I thought he said he didn't have the time when Minras had to bug.

... so, do you have the time?

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

- I don't have any more time than I did previously.

- But I am honored by the thought.

I vote we hijack Delta, and make the Scouts get a new correspondant.

"I vote we hijack Delta, and make the Scouts get a new correspondant."

- Actually DeltaXi65 seems to be doing fine cooresponding for both professions.

- Scout and Ranger are quite similiar to each other, and we have many of the same issues

- Has he posted concerns regarding running both positions?

-If not, then I don't see why he can't continue as he has been doing.

My vote would be for NRaas come on buddy you don't need to have a real life SWG is your life! Also if we could get delta that would be awesome to. Lets set up a rebel squad hi jack his wife and hold her ransom until he accepts the position as the ranger correspondent.
