I don't know how many Master Rangers are on Sunrunner, but I do know that when I made it, there weren't many. Now I see em everywhere. Heck, there are 3 MR's in my PA alone.

Monday, I trained a Novice Ranger in his first Ranger skill box. Last night I trained him in his last two Boxes needed to get MR. All he needed when he signed off last night was the apprentice exp to get the MR box trained. I asked him "how is that possible". He just smiled and told me that his "wife loved him" whatever that means....sigh.....

Macros for camping, a wife who is home who traps and harvests for him, and the time he spends online playing... you can about make Master in a week or less, dependingon how good your camping macro is.

However, now that he has Master, assuming he can get his app pts, which was the telling point for me, that he don't play with anyone else... what good is he? He knows one planets one area well, and that's it. Never been off-planet. Probably could not even find the spaceport with two hands and a flashlight.

Ok, he is a Master, goodie for him. Now he can take his lik CDEF pistol and go kill some bugs or birds or something.

Fred, pop your FB in sight of Tyrena, on either the east side near the beach, or past the cloner. Put it in plainview and let the crowd form. Finda medic to craft heals, and shout out that people can sit there instead of the medcenter. I did this, when my smuggler buddy and I were shot up and needing to heal. Worked wonders, and I got the xp. Yanno how boring the medcenter is?? I had several new people using my base to go out, kill some easy stuff, and come back to for heals. Every 15/20 mins, pop a new camp and you rack up some xp, minimum 4 k per hour, or if there is a crowd, a new camp every 10 mins, 6k per hour. Time consuming yes, boring yes, but it do get the job done.

oh yes, and I need to mention, I RP my camping: I don't drop a camp unless it makes sense that I would.

My wife loves me too. All that means in my house is that she is more accomodating about my playing time. I personally don't think macro'ing is kosher. I'm not quite where Fred is, in that I wont pop a camp unless the need arises, but I won't macro. I guess I just feel like its a short cut, and I want to earn the Master Ranger title.

Just my own humble opinion for what it's worth, and I'm definitely not flaming. To each his own. Good hunting all!

I agree on Macro's.....considered using one and decided against it. Just doesnt seem the same. I would value my Master much less getting it that way.

My wife loves me to. but remember even when they lowered the camping requirements alot of rangers just powered threw the last few boxs of frontiering. There are now 8-9 master rangers on Naboo, Radiant . That I know of. there are most likely more in theed/moenia that i don't ever see or notice.

It's all about what makes the game worthwhile for the player.

It's great when I level up, but if I don't that's okay too. I play the game very organically, doing what I enjoy doing and not being concerned at moving up the skill tree fast and furious.

When the last patch came, I was filled in camping and trapping for the next skill level, but I didn't make the effort to go get trained by the NPC trainer. As a consequence, I've had to train back up to get those skills. I managed to get the camping one and I'm green in trapping but, like I said, I haven't found a trainer yet for it.

Hi guys,

Yes, maybe there are a few who are powering their way through to MR within a few days, but you also have to remember, many folk, like myself, have been been playing our character since the day the servers didn't come up.

We started as scouts for a basis with MR in mind the whole time, but we did not focus on just getting Master Ranger! We went out and did other things, got into adventures, helped friends out by running errands with and for them.....

Most of my scout and ranger exp was Solo, not all but most. Now, all I have is the last 50k of camping to get through and I will be a new Master Ranger, which does not mean I'm a new scout or even a new ranger by that matter. Again a lot of these "new rangers" or influx of them may be folk who have been working on this for a long time, not just since the announcement of new ranger abilities.
