Thread: Calling all Imperial Sector Rangers (Starsider)
Sector Rangers:
a loose association of local system police forces which filled the gaps in the galactic law enforcement system, the Sector Rangers were created by the planetary governors of the Old Republic. The Senate authorized the formation of the Sector Rangers in an effort to bring law enforcement to newly colonied worlds quickly and efficiently. The Jedi Knights couldn't be everywhere, so the Sector Rangers held sway in their own systems. When the Empire overthrew the Old Republic, many of the larger forces were usurped into the Imperial machine as the Imperial Sector Rangers. Others simply fell through the cracks, and remained separate enforcement agencies. After the Battle of Endor, the Sector Rangers continued to bring Imperial law to the worlds of the Outer Rim. Who we are
The 488 Led is a force for good, carrying out essential work both in Vagabond's Rest and Mos Eisley. Whether it's protecting Imperial Security or fighting a war, keeping the peace in the galaxy's hotspots or delivering humanitarian aid, the LED is respected galaxy wide for it's ability to fulfil a role that no other organisation is trained or equipped to do.
OurRole
The LED plays a vital role around the galaxy. As well as being called upon to protect the security of the Empire, we're increasingly needed to act as an intergalactic peacekeeper in today's volatile galaxy. Our officers and soldiers carry out important, often life-saving work across the galaxy, and we currently undertake everything from civil engineering projects in Vagabond's Rest to providing humanitarian aid to people trying to rebuild their lives in Wayfar, Tatooine.

From word go, you'll be based in our barracks in either Vagabond's Rest or Mos Eisley. There you'll live, work and play with a close-knit team. I am in the process of setting up a website to work as a community for any one, on any server, who is interested in role-playing as a Sector Ranger. Additionally, I am contemplating setting up a site similar to EQ Ranger for SWG Rangers. If anyone would be interested in this, let me know.
