Ive been out of SWG for a bit and want to know if any changes to rangers have happened or are forth comming?

How long have you been gone? 
There are now trapping and harvesting droids (harvesting droids run over and harvest what we tell them to, and give a small bonus; trapping droids, well, they throw traps).
We are still scheduled for a revamp after Smugglers and Squad Leaders - perhaps sometime in the spring... though I believe I was saying that exact same thing at this exact same time last year.
New forum icons? New Outdoorsman proposal (2.0 even)! Lots of new faces.

Man serraphin if you really feel that way there are 31 other professions to try out. Ranger isnt about the professions its about roleplaying. Its about how you live your life in game. It has nothing to do with uberness with to creature hit or melee def. It has to do with someone who studies the planets and knows how they act. When we say its a lifestyle thats what it is. Yes it needs to be more but for now thats what it is. And thats what most of us here understand, accept, and live with.

So when you say most of the rangers here accept that is that why this profession needs are not taken seriously because thedevs know they really do not need to address the issues here. Are you suggesting that the devs know this forum will simply "take it" over andover again?

Well we wont get anything if you keep necroposting and foaming at the mouth. And im not talking about the devs side of it all. See its a game and we play the game. And we have adjusted to and deal with our profession the way it is. All your doing is turning the forums into the BH and Jedi forums and thats exactly what we dont want.
So why make Calc's retirement miserable with your hate. He did a great job representing us and replacing the original correspondent we all loved. Save your arguments, anger, flamebaiting, for the new person. They will have an empty mailbox for you to go off on.
Im sick and tired of the squeeky wheel getting the oil. Im glad to see they finally took the step to shut the stupid petition threads that got us nowhere. You know who your making the most upset? The players not the devs. They have a combat balance and some pretty big fixes coming out to us in the shortterm we didnt think we are getting. Stop second guessing what they are planning when they arent showing us the cards as much anymore. Play the game as its stands or go try EQ2, WoW or some other game thats at the beginning of its life.
But then i doubt you read all of this

If you want to keep bringing our attention to old threads, would you be willing to at least do it in one thread? Post some links (possibly with an explanation of why you think that link is important) and people can look back at it if they feel like it. Bump it up to the main page and you might confuse some people into thinking the threads are brand new. If you like the idea and want to add to it, bump up the thread with the idea. If you want to just point out the past can you do it in one thread instead of 10? It will still be read by many of us but we won't be looking at every other post's date to see how important responding to a person might be.

I read all the comments but quite often this forum does not read mine entirely. Look at the dates of this post. I did not create it nor is it old. I responded to a question newly posted here. Just to answer your question I have prepared to drop one of my two SWG accoutns in preparation for WoW and that game seems to have potential in gameplay but clearly SWG wins in the Graphics department. I love the Star Wars universe and would simply like the profession I prefer to be relevant and Ranger clearly is not from my point of view. Perhaps you disagree. Why do you consider a demand for progress hate? That baffles me.

Because of how your going about it. These forums are a relaxed place to hide and avoid this kind of stuff. You assume nothings getting done, nothings been planned. You said the point of a ranger correspondent was pointless.
