Thread: What is the chance that Blizzard will getthe Ranger class right in there World?

8 races vs 10 (12 with JTL) and 9 classes vs 34(38 with JTL) which can be mixed and matched. Yeah the boys from blizzard are up against areal challenge...


That said, Blizzard is a fine company. I've stopped following their games after Starcraft but reading on the net they still have their good rep of releasing games when they're done. I expect WoW will be relatively bug and imbalance free compared to other mmorpg's that have been released. I won't be playing it myself since reading the FAQ reminds me way too much of DAoC.


For those to lazy to check the WoW site, Ranger class is named Hunter, ranged combat, can track, calm and tame animals. Pretty standard fantasy RPG ranger implementation with a couple of zillion examples in various (mmo)rpg's around.

You have to have a lot of professions when nothing works. Its simple we are getting quantity instead of quality.

I think it is pretty good. Maybe SOE should look to them to see how to treat a loyal customer base.
