Fellow Rangers,

It's very exciting to be in Flurry as a Ranger right now. The Flurry Antarian Ranger Guild was officially started Sunday after accepting the members and going on a christening hunt. As far as creature hunting is concerned, I have never seen a better hunting group that a bunch of Rangers! That's saying a lot, considering we had very little in the way of medics out there.

The impressive hunt came to an exciting climax once we were ambushed by a Dark Jedi Master! We defeated her, and I want to personally thank everyone who brought a pet to that fight We killed THREE MORE Dark Jedi after that, then ended the first of our hunts.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel really good to be in FAR, especially now!

Just a heads-up, we will be having another meeting this weekend. It will be an hour later than last week, to better accomodate people. 7pm EST on Sunday, ok? We will now be discussing issues as a Guild, but any Ranger thinking about joining sometime is welcome to participate, as well as any Antarians from any Galaxy.

Well, I have to say I hada great time too. This was my first big organized hunt, and it went down super. Also, these were the first Jedi's I had run into, so that was fun. I'm looking forward to more hunts like this.

Can't make it to the meeting on Sunday Avido. I get off work arond 7, probably won't log on til about 15 til 8, but maybe ya'll will still be around the hall.

Heya my FAR brothers! This is Gi-elo Aha´gi speaking!

The hunt we did was by far the funniest and most exciting thing i did in my almost 2 month SWG life experience. It was a blast!

Plus which guild can say that at their first hunting, they would find 3 Dark Jedis! And kill them!Thats was fantastic ( the jedis literally chewed my 2 pets ehhehehe. it was thrilling!

I gotta admit we are the best brotherhod/guild/Pa Hall/.. ever!

Gotta thank u Avido, Dekas, Dynesh, Cole, Zose, Anro my mentor, and all the others!!! ( im really bad with names ! ). Plus a big thx to that big Wookie fella who was helping us ( a master ranger also ).

Its so great to finally find an ingame family like FAR!!

Thanks again to everybody from FAR for letting me tag along. We had a great hunt, and the xp we got allowed me to reach master rifleman to complement my master ranger skills yesterday! In any case, I think we all had a great time meeting our fellow rangers; and I know we are all looking forward to more hunts and fun in the future!

The large set is in 1280x1024, and has 5 low compression JPEGs (ie, ungodly file sizes, roughly 5 Megs total), so not for the faint of heart or connection speed. I reduced the smalls to 640x480 with more compression, so should be a little easier on the dialup folks. If you browse the small and would like to see one full size, just copy the link for the picture and remove the "s" from the first part of the name; I am too lazy to do thumbnail links.

Excuse the non-fanciness of the pages -- rangers prefer function over form.

I havea great one from right after the first Jedi fell. She is laying on the ground with a circle of bodies around her - about 3 or 4 incaps and a whole bunch of pets Don't know how to post the pic though.

Any Rangers (whether you want to join the guild or not) who wish to participate in these hunts just give me an email in-game and I will keep you posted. I hope to do another after the meeting Sunday. Maybe we can try out Dathomir this time

Well, I also had a blast on Sunday. I wish that I could have joined the hunt a little earlier, but unfortunately Sundays afternoon & early evening is the one time during the week that I spend with the family, so it is impossible for me to join before 9 PM (EST) on Sundays.

A special thanks to Avido for the warm welcome, to Cole for the invitation and thanks to the rest of the Rangers for the excellent reception I received.

The encounter with the 4 DJs was the icing on the cake.

I would love to join the FAR, but I am already a member of another PA (Masons) so for the time being I can only continue to be an associate and supporter of the FAR.

For what I observed so far, there is no doubt that the FAR will become the best PA in Flurry.

Rangers lead the way.

No one responded to my post on the other thread regarding allowing a wife/gf to join, even though she is a non-ranger.

not that anyone cares, but i'm not gonna join a PA that she can't join too.

can you post the policy, i probably missed it somewhere. thanks.

I can't directly answer your question just yet about our policy, because as of now we don't have a policy. there will be a meeting Sunday night at the Guild Hall (see previous posts for details) and if you want to come and petition for allowing non-Rangers in feel free to do so. It will be one of the topics scheduled to be discussed.

In accordance to the Antarian Rangers of Ahazi (the first AR and kind of a headquarters, but not really) there are NO non-Rangers allowed into the guild. We may accept VERY few non-Rangers here in Flurry, but will try our hardest toavoid doing so.

Now that I've talked in circles, please come Sunday night to speak your mind. The decision will be made that night, so non-Rangers might stand a better chance if you are there on their behalf.

I had a great time with the FAR PA on Sunday. The hunt was a lot of fun and I hope this can become a weekly event. I never thought we would run into anything like a Dark Jedi Master, but 4 of them Wow! With the great group we had we might have taken Darth Vader...see you guys on Sunday.

Howdy Rangers!

Ok a quick update. Due to a generous donation from Flurry Antarian Ranger associate Munga, we now have a Weapon, Droid and General Item Crafting Station.

This is not just any station, It has an effectiveness rating of +41.6! Please thank Munga when you see him around the Hall. He is a Combat Medic/Doctor and will be supporting us on many hunts.

Moving on.. Seeing as I left work early last Sunday to make the founding party, I don't think I can do it 2 weeks in a row. That said, if we could hold the meeting at 5:00pm Pacific on Sunday it would make me very happy. 8:00 shouldn't be too hard on you east coasters.

I would like to thank Avido for his hard work, and for the opportunity to take a leadership role in our guild. I will not let you down.

I'm not sure if it will let you join the PA forum without being accepted by a guild leader. I will try and get in touch with Zkull so he can give Avido, Anro and myself power to accept FAR rangers.
