Thread: Shellfish harv quest?

I have only heard of the quest for the schematic for the tool. I have however not completed every single NPC quest in the game yet. I guess it is possible that such a quest exist, but until I actuarially se a new harvester I will put my credits on a misunderstanding.

Duh...it just dawned on me. The handheld tool is called a 'Shellfish Harvester.' It is not a harvester you place on the ground and leave. Perhaps that is where the confusion lies?

Yeah, it's a tool that you use like a fishing pool. You get a schematic for it from an NPC under the bridge in Anchorhead.

Aye I did this quest a little while back and when I got the schematic I thought it was for a harvester you could leave in place too, like a lobster pot.

I just learned last night that we can do a quest to get a shellfish harv. Not the tool schem mind you but something you can place. i would like to try this out, anyone know where to get this quest?

Yeah I know about the shellfish tool,I got the schem the first day it was out, I have a decent macro to use it as well that gets me almost 1k per hour. Someone told me there was ANOTHER type of shellfish harv as well. Guess not, oh well it was a good thought.

you can do the quest for the schimatic for some npc called bengal in wayfar, but i've been told that you can get the harvester from doing a quest for some npc under the bridge in anchor head but i'm not sure about this one as i've not done it yet. but while your in wayfar the npc at the other side of town from bengal has a quest for tusken loot aswell. when you have your harvester its off to the oasis on tat to use it and mine works quite well

I originally did the Wayfar version of this quest (I think I was an Imp at the time, so AH was chancing it a bit).
Took a quick run out today and did the 'NPC under the bridge' version and, rofl, that's an easy one.
Now, anyone want half a dozen bantha dolls and a schematic for a shelfish harvester?

Well, I hope people don't mind me posting a macro, but here's mine:
Name: shellfish (<--this is important)
/ui action toolbarSlotxx; <--- xx being the F-key where you've got the harvester, -1, so If you have it in F4, xx=03
/pause 6;
/macro shellfish; (shellfish can be replaced with the name of the macro. Mine is called shellfish, that's what i put there)
So, this clicks the harvester, waits 6 seconds, and loops the macro...
