Thread: This may have been mentioned already
All I ask is that we watch NPCs to make sure that they DON'T have TN restrictions. I.e, does a meatlump respond to TN at all? Does a meatlump move slower than a stormie on hilly terrain? Things like that.
And yes, I know critters dp follow TN rules (at least they did).

Well, you see, my 30 days was up LONG before the new rule was made and I didn't get grandfathered in or anything...

Actually, I finally made the connection a few nights ago. I was on Lok and a mercenary went afre my friend. I thought WE could crawl fast but that merc was uber! Let's make sure we mention this to owen when he gets back! NPCs should have similar TN restrictions to players.

I'll keep my eye open, I know the critters are on Gorath at least. I mean last night I... /rescued (gulp) and pulled 3 ancients off my guildie. I then led them slowly up the south face of Krayt Graveyard till we were about 100m from the group, then did a /burstrun and left them in my dust.

There is a post that I am SURE someone here has a link to, that gives pretty good details on how to make a nifty sig. I don't know about the graphics that people use, but the easiest way I have heard of to do sigs is to make you sig in a regular post. Instead of submitting the post, copy and paste the text from there into your sig editor, under My Profile, Preferences, I think. Lol, it has been so long since I made a sig, I forgot all the details!

OK, I knew there we some fast and some slow critters , but I haven't been paying attention to see if they are still following the same rules lately. So, it's just the NPCs? That's easier to observe, then

oh, i thought maybe you had 30 days since the announcement... that kinda sucks... did they just drop you immediately, or did you guys have some sort of warning before the rest of us found out?...mm... and this poses another question... who gets the hijacking xp for this, youor me?
It was brought up to us last week, but never clarified if the old, old, old, glowies got to stay for the 30 days or not. It would appear the answer is 'not.'
I am maxed on hijack xp, so it's all yours.

the standard way is to make a sig in a reply, then click the "edit as HTML" button... copy it all, and paste it in the signature field of the personal profile...
we can't post images, but a lot of folks use some of the symbols in the different font options... also, you can convert pictures to HTML and copy that into the signature field (one handy website for that)...
back on topic though... as far as i know, all critters still obey the laws of TN... but i've never witnessed an NPC to unless they were "tired"... by tired i mean they either chased you for a long distance, or were forced to run through water... maybe they get a boost to TN kind of like /forcerun?... heh, whatever the case, i hate watching them crawl at me at burstrun speeds...
things are always changing in the game, so i'll check to make sure... but i don't think TN matters much to most of the non-crtiter NPCs...
