Thread: Milk: with new Ranger bonus who/what drops the most?

Pickets, female sharnaffs, and gurrecks are good choices... As was said before, it's based off CL, so the higher creature level, the more milk it drops.
Scout/ranger skills don't increase milk yield like it does for harvesting meats/hides, etc..
However, it used to be that we could kill a creature and type "/harvest milk", and you could actually use veghash to increase the amount of milk harvested... But, sadly, "necro milking" was removed. (was much quicker, too!)
Edit: (oh, and why would someone flame you over that question?
I don't think PETA frequents these forums, so you're safe..

A good method I've found is to find lairs close together. On northern Naboo, I usually can find a fambaa lair close enough to a bolle ole lairs that I can run back and forth between the two and collect a 10k stack in a matter of 30 minutes. Bolle oles give about 80 units per and fambaas a little over 100. Granted, there are only two fambaas per lair but it worked for me.

I had great success getting 2 Picket missions on Dant, about 400m from each other. Unless the voritors get to them first.

I normally get two missions in the same direction on dant, and walk there, harvesting and milking all the way. About 1k of milk per picket lair, which is not to shabby. Also, the female elephant things (I forgot their names!) and guardians of the same breed are milkable. Just a little fyi.
I got about 10k in two hours of just putsing around. Pretty fun if I do say so myself.

The little female elephant things on Dant usually get you 50-100 units per milk, the ancient matriarch elephant things usually give you 150-200.

I get an average of 170-2?? something per piket longhorn females.

Hey,
Ok, chancing a flame here but worth a shot....... With the new Ranger bonus any ideas on who/what drops the most milk per critter?
I am ramping Ranger with one character and my son is ramping Scout. We are working together. My alt is a chef who could use 100K or more of milk. I don't care stats, I just need volume.
In the past I know bantha's on Tatooine and Piketts (sp) on Dant were good options. This still the case or folks have other suggestions?
Thanks for any assist here. I did search for milk posts but more are old and mainly talked about the /harvest milk after death that was a previous bug.

Milking is based purely on CL level, soharvest bonuses have no effect. I think the highest level creature you can milk is one of the gurreck typeson Endor.

There are no mods in Ranger (or any profession) that affect the amount of milk you get (and therefore, the group bonus does not apply). As to what creature provides the most milk; I don't know, but I am sure someone here can help.

go to dathomir and try brackasets i get between 100/ 250 units per animal.
