It seems as though calc, our famed blue glowy, is getting the boot

Thats interesting. But all the blue glowies are still in the Alpha.

That is too bad. I think it is very helpful to new Corrs to have someone there who remembers the "history" of decisions made on the Corr forum and what arguments worked and what arguments didn't. However, it gives the glowies much more freedome to post their honest to goodness opinions without fear that they will be misconstrued as "straight from the dev's mouths."

Well, the fluffy reason is that there are far too many people posting in the Corr forum.
A real reason (I think there are multiple reasons, but I will not post those
) is that there have indeed, been some pretty nasty posts there lately. I won't go into detail, but I certainly won't say that only glowies are responsible (basically some corrs and some glowies are guilty). Basically, they cut off the people they could resonably cut off.
FWIW, we did get multiple warnings before this measure was taken, but they seem to have failed

Oh, and I am mostly sure I am still on Santa's 'nice' list

sadly, this just seems like another instance where the crimes of a few screw the productive actions of many.
