Thread: Combat Rangers

I'm back in the fold again (4 Rangers and counting!) and I was wondering if there were any PvP Rangers out there. Back in 03/04, my toon on Starsider was a PvP Ranger, and I loved it. I was the first one in to scout the area, set up retreat and checkpoints, and tried to get others out safely.
Problem is, I don't know of too many Rangers on Starsider, anymore, and I'm more than willing to make a new Ranger on another server, and hook up with fellow Rangers who play in this style, whether it's PvP or PvE. Any help would be appreciated.

I do that at times with my guild. Most often I track Krayts and such for them, and occaisionally set up a cap.

I've done this with my guild, as well. When some of them are grinding out in the field at different planets on different areas, we'll group up, and I run around Rescuing them. Let me tell you, it get to be a lot of work trying to save your guildies from NS, rancors, krayts, and such, but it gives me and other rangers a chance to see how fast we can respond .

With the new CU, this is going to be dramatically impacted. Please get on TC EP3 or one of the other TC servers using the new CU, and help us work thourgh how this is going to affect us at least initially (since we keep being told that after Smuggler and a few others they will be doing an overhaul to Ranger). We need all the input from Rangers we can get and to post findings and post suggestions to the devs for better balance.

Fencer/Ranger on TC3, and I'd be glad to help. But with rumors going around that the CU is being released Wednesday (unless I read wrong), more testing will need to be done In Live, than the TC. Either way, I'd like to help.
