Thread: P-Dart applies a state ... Tranquilizer Dart

Threw a P-Dart today and saw the "tranquilizer dart" stat appear under the creatures HAM.
Testing a fw more traps now. Anyone else find anything like this?

ill have a look. but cant see the effects or buffs because they slide under the hud and i cant move them for some reason.

Sharp - Bone: puts a blind icon
Sonic Pulse: puts a dizzy and stun
Lecepine: Dizzy
Noise Maker: Stun
Flash Bomb: blind
That's all the state icons that are currently generated I believe. Problem is... most of those really don't work against creatures.

I setup a looping macro to spam 10toolbar slots in a row, one every 5 seconds which I filled with traps... and then went about looking for trouble... my level 80 MCH/MRanger was getting hurt very bad by a couple level 25's and the terrain negotiation helped squat. It seems all mobs I've tried have maxxed speed andterrain negotiation too including squalls, so that did me absolutely no good... after what felt like 10 mintues, the 2 level 25s finally incapped me (I was wearing advanced RIS) and when I got back up I kited and came back to try and take one of them on. For all of these tests I didn't bother getting the pet out, I was testing basically "solo ranger, high CL butno combat skills" with my LD-1 rifle. I had dropped most of my marksman skills to get the 3th box in combat medic and the last bit in marksman rifles 1. This time I hit my trap spam macro and found that the creature did eventually get rooted from one of the traps (I'm assuming p-dart as I didn't have any adhesive mesh on me) and I was able to leisurely spam "ranged attack" on them (my only special besides aimed shot). as I was tossing bone spurs and whatnot it did get some of those states like blind, but they didn't last long enough to do anything. This root though never seemed to break.
