Thread: remember when krayts where a legend?

do anyone here remember when the krayt dragons where a legend of tatooine... they where rare and feared... now u can find a krayt too easy... but they wehre rare once... untill some jedis started to whine about they wanted more pearls... wich made the devs increase krayt population...

You can bet that they producers aren't listening to Jedi's issues anymore, they're on their own program, and it doesn't sound like the target audience is a part of that program.

In my opinion the biggest problem with Krayts is not that there are so many of them, but rather that they are so easy to kill. Sure, you could solo them before the CU, but it took a bunch of armor, buffs, food and whatnot.
Today almost anyone can solo them easily.
I remember when a krayt could take out afull group of players. Today a full group can drop a canyon Krayt in a few seconds.
I think one of most fearsome beasts in the Universe should be a lot stronger than that and should be a challenge even to afull group of players.

Anyone else remember the start when it would take 2 groups of 20 to bring them down ? lol

ya i remember my first Krayt hunt. 20 in the group we had two camps with docs healing in them(thats when we needed camps)and we had CH with all thier pets and it took us all like 45 min to bring that bad boy down.that was so much fun. a big o Krayt hunt good times

I remember those krayts. You would be driving from Jabba's Palace to the nearest shuttleport, you come over a hill and you see a massive 75 m krayt being attack by a full group of 20 people. It was a beutifullsight. Now a krayt is just an overgrown kreetle.

I was in a group of5 Rangers and we took one down. I had been terrified of fighting them because I remember those days. Then we pretty much pwned it and went home with pearls and such.

Those days were more entertaining, since you really might not've won. heh, there wasn't any "technique" as it were to killing them outside of running away shooting, but a 20 man group took time in any case, since they usually weren't too high in the skill trees. I think I once joined one of those hunts, as I vaguely remember seeing my corpse strewn about back when my lekku were orange.
