You need a Weapon, Droid and General Tool and the same Crafting Station to make the schematic. You use an Equipment Factory to produce them.

I have an equipment factory just put it up but it says I have no scheme's to use in this factory.

Question: How do I create crates of traps?

Answer: First there are a number of items you will need before you begin.

• You must have a weapon, droid, and general item crafting tool.
  
  
  
• You must stand near a weapon, droid, and general item crafting station. You can purchase your own station - one you can place in your house or one that is in a droid - or you can use one of the public stations that are located outside the starport of most major cities, or you can use the station in your High Tech Field Base if you are high enough in Ranger to be able to build one.
  
  
  
• You must have an Equipment Factory.
  
  
  
• You must have large-ish stacks of the resources you need for your traps, I would say at least stacks of 1000 units.

To make crates of traps you must make a schematic of the type of trap you want. To do this:

1. Stand near your crafting station and create a trap using your weapon droid and generic item crafting tool. Make sure you use resources from the large stacks you gathered.
   
   
   
2. During the crafting a message will come up asking if you want to create a prototype item or a manufacturing schematic. Choose the manufacturing schematic.
   
   
   
3. Click on your factory and choose Options from the radial menu.
   
   
   
4. Choose "Access Schematic Slot" from the Options. A text box appears.
   
   
   
5. Highlight the trap schematic and click on the "Use Schematic" button. The schematic is now loaded into your factory.
   
   
   
6. Click on the factory again and choose "Access Ingredients Hopper" from the Options. A screen, similar to your inventory screen, appears.
   
   
   
7. Drag the resource stacks you used to make the trap schematic out of your inventory and into the hopper.
   
   
   
8. Close the hopper, click on the factory again and select "Start manufacturing objects" from the Options.

You are now making crates of traps! You will receive an email when the factory run is complete (may take several hours).
