Now What? I was tired of all the fighting with the other professions. So i decided to take up this nobel profession.

I become a master ranger last night befor logging after about 6 six straight hours of the trapping tree.

Where to go from here. I'm already a master rifleman, but how about pistols?

Thanks Ranger Community.

Boss: This 'deluxe model' is the only thing standing between you and a bloody death, so you'd best be showing some respect, trooper.

congrats!

rifleman is a natural profession for ranger, however, with pistols you will be fast and feel more heat of combat, while rifleman is a more distance combat (as you know)

nevertheless, do whats fun... there's no right or wrong where this is concerned.

Your exact same question can go with just about every other profession in the game.

So I mastered Smuggler, now what?
So I mastered Pistoleer, now what?

To that I answer, go play. Stop grinding and figure out what about the game you have fun with. People complain about the grind, but what do they do when they finish one grind, but go and find another one. So I say, go meet some people, go find some new sights, go skin some new creature, go meet some new people. It's a multiplayer game, go find some players.

Go impress your friends by puttin on a camo kit and standing under a krayt. Put up a wayfarer tag and hang out telling stories in a cantina. Find out a guildie needs some hide and watch him gawk when you tell him how much you get per creature, then build one of the coolest things in game, the HTFB!

Just some of the long list of stuff i enjoy doing on my ranger, who i actually play more than my jedi these days hehe.

Lol, I would have hoped you would have figured out 'now what' BEFORE you mastered Ranger .

Bacially, go hunt critters (resource collection or big game), use camo to sneak around the big nasties, or place a HTFB and watch people ooooh and ahhhh over it.

Might I ask what is a 'HTFB'?

Quick guide to ranger lingo:

  • HTFB = high tech field base
  • P-Dart, Pop-Tart = Phenecine Dart Trap
  • Hawtpants = the unspeakable
