Hey guys just checking in ...9.15 and all is well

Anyways i probably wont get in game till the weekend but was curious if publish 24 has affected big game hunting?

I hear about a snare or root "nerf" (damm i hate that word). Has this affected any of us hunting Krayts, Kimos or Gorax etc.

As i generally hunt solo as im online when most people are sleeping and all, can these things still be soloed with good tactics and ranger ingenuity.

I have seen reports that non-FS NPC's are using FS abilities, Juvies are almost impossible to solo.

And the snare thing was removing the ability to root someone with two snares, and negating a snare with /burst or /force run.

Oh, and also there are reports of NPC's and Creatures being immune to an effect indefinitely after they apply it to you.

Sounds like some fun to be had by all now, might just hang out near the Krayt Graveyard and see the mayhem

Ah well sure there isa way to compensate for the changes

Looking at the other boards though people seem to be unhappy about the difficulty level, calls for removal of Patch 24 etc etc etc...only hope i get to try out some hunting before there cries are heard

Snares not working isn't the nerf, it's just a bug.

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.
